Need new portable BBQ

Hi everyone, hope this is the right place to post, but I am in need of a new Barbeque for Camping. We had the coleman roadtrip grill with a red lid and the one burner just stopped working. It is also a pain to clean after each use.

So what are you using for a Barbeque and do you like it? We do most of our cooking outside on the Barbeque. Any recommendations would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Vic46....X2 on the PortaChef from Broil King but this is a Weber Q forum and will always be so. PortaChef cheaper (price not quality), cast aluminum, porcelain cast iron grill, made in Canada. I fitted mine with a rotisserie burner and a spit and can do two chickens, roasts, etc. Also tall enough to do beer can chicken.

I will cast another vote for the Weber-Q. When I got mine I found a better deal at Home Depot than Camping World, especially for the cover and the hose to connect to a 20# propane tank.

I've had a Weber Smokey Joe for about 20 years.

Get off your gas and grill....Kingsford has it right, in my book.

Don't know if you want charcoal or gas but I prefer charcoal and live for cooking on my Weber go anywhere. I can grill, bake, "Q", smoke (with aluminum foil modifications) most anything on it and it lasts a long time w/ no need for replacement parts. Gotta love the easy to pack shape too.

Weber Q works for me and would buy another one. Built like a tank, but a bit heavy. I removed the regulator on my for connection to the quick connect on the new trailer. Simple job.

For grillin, we have a Coleman roadtrip that can be configured different ways. Its a flat top, or a burners for pots or grill. We also have a Weber Smokey Joe and I love the added flavor of charcoal that gas just doesnt have and use it more than the road trip.

Olympian, can use with or without a regulator. Good for direct hookup.

Wow, ditto the Weber Q. Even use it at the house instead of my larger one sometimes. It works well and is just so convenient.

Amen. Just bought one myself. Well worth the purchase. Even used it this last trip to do s'mores because the campground didn't have fire pits (that hacked me off btw ๐Ÿ™‚ )
