This thread is a hot mess. I’m not certain what the central question is, but I’d like to state for the record that I have the Genie 2 system in my MH and have been using it for over a year. It works well with my Trav’lr sat dish that I used with the old Genie system that it replaced. It does NOT need to be connected to wifi to work. However, if you want to access on-demand programming, you will need to be connected to a wifi network. No different than with any other Genie system.
This pretty much clears everything up for me. Bring my home Genie II with us when we depart.
Thank you.
