Dish customer question
We have Directv but after wasting days for a scheduled upgrade and many hours on the phone we r thinking of changing. We are full timers and wonder how often Dish will allow you to change the service ...

I have been doing it for years with Directv.. no RV plan.. just a home service.
then take receiver with us.. use our own dish antenna.. and call customer service. and ask for change of Service address and NOT Mailing address..
I did it last fall.. from Ohio to MB,SC . then Edisto Beach SC.. then back to Ohio.. in 3 months..
and the change of service is like 5 minutes. but you must press the reset button on the receiver after talking to customer service... each time.
but sometimes the Guide will take 24 hours to update local channels.. they are available in 5 minutes just does not show up for 24 hours.
