DISH Wally and Pathway X2
So I’ve read that the newer Wally supports watching and recording simultaneously. Does it do this with a Pathway X2?

No, it does not unless you are watching 1 satellite channel and 1 OTA channel with the correct adapter.
The 2 channel option only works with open face antennas and the DISH DPP LNB.
