Extended payment plan

The CW website displays a "Bill Me Later" logo among various credit cards accepted for payment. I sent an E-mail to customer service inquiring about the availability of "Bill Me Later". This is a Pay Pal company. I received a response to contact "Bill Me Later" and provided a telephone number. BAD response! I telephoned the number provided and an established "Bill Me Later" 16 digit account number is required to speak with them. I do not, nor intend to establish the account, pending clarification from CW, as to their accepting the deferred payment plan. My proposed $1200.00 purchase is in limbo. Does CW accept "Bill Me Later" AND has CW authorized a deferred interest, six month payment plan with "Bill Me Later"?

CW will benefit from offering this plan, as some items such as generators, refrigerators, satellite domes, etc. are expensive and more convenient to purchase on a six month deferred interest plan.

I will appreciate a response from CW on this issue. I have never succeeded in gaining a definite response from CW.
  • Bill me Later is just a credit card, they have nothing to do with CW, they can offer any thing they want regardless of what CW says. You choose PayPal to pay then select BML through them, then BML(credit card) pays CW you pay BML. And as for clarification from CW, you won't, they're not BML/PayPal. It's like asking Walmart about Targets return policies. One has nothing to do with the other.

CW does accept bill me later. As far as the differed interest, that is not on cw's side, that is bill me later. If you pay the balance within the 6 months, it is generally interest free.

I've used it before and with CW. When you go to check out on the CW website, select the bill me later as form of payment. It will ask you to login with your bill me later account info or sign up. You will have to enter information and will have to get approval from them (a minute or so). They will set you up with a limit like any other credit card.

This will be for online purchases. You won't receive a card or anything to use in the store.

Thank you for the response. Somehow, my posting intended for "Marcus" appeared in the open forum.

My understanding of the six month, no interest issue is that the vendor must pre-approve the terms with "Bill Me Later." I will pursue with CW. Again, thank you for taking the time to constructively provide valued information.
