It may be that the default install doesn't have the buttons where they were in the past but they can be restored via Customization.
Easy access to the sidebars for one.
That button went away somewhere around FF35-38..
Allows you to ONE click and instantly have your book mark side bar on the side.
Then you can simply MOVE by dragging and dropping your bookmarks into the respective folders. Makes it much easier.
Not sure as to why anyone would think using multi-key multi stroke "shortcuts" and or "F" buttons is an improvement.. Those are rather retro back to DOS and a bit before..
