hopkins tire pressure monitoring system

I have lost the cig. lighter adapter to power the 38100va. My problem is I need to know the polarity of the adapter. Is the center positive or negative. The owners manual does not say nor does the base say anything. I know I could call tech at hopkins but I wanted to see if anyone out there knows. Thanks.
