Millenicom Question

I can't find the answers.

Millenicom sounds great, but say you want to stop Millenicom for a few months and restart again, do they charge you a monthly fee charge for not using it.. What's the activation charge and will they activate the device the day you call in?

    we had AT&T DSL for a few years, and now use Millenicom. To me there is no comparison - my AT&T DSL signal disappeared as soon as the motorhome got far enough away from the house to break the cable - with Millenicom it continues to work no matter how far away from the house we get...:B
  • DSL is usually cheaper. I am paying $35 now but it will go up to $50 when my year is up. DSL is not limited to any GBs.
    But I am being charged half price will I am away from home. Millenicom doesn't charge anything except a reconnection fee (see above).
    But remember there are many DSL providers and prices and rules may vary. Also speed may affect the price.

  • After much research...on this forum...I order Millenicom. It arrived in a timely fashion and installed fairly easy although not as easy as I expected. I had to make two calls to customer service and one call to get a manual for the jetpack. I've had it in use for about 3 weeks...and I hope it always works this good. I'm pleased.

    Millenicom is an interactive online service provider for access onto the Internet. This agreement sets forth the Account Terms and Conditions that apply to the subscriber for use of Millenicom. The subscriber is deemed to have agreed to comply with all terms by use of the service.

    Statement of Responsibility for Mobile Broadband Service (Applies to mobile broadband accounts only)

    I agree to the following conditions regarding use of mobile broadband service:
    1.I understand I am responsible for the choice of service and am bound to remit payment.
    2.I understand my accounts remain open until I submit a written cancel request. I agree to pay the monthly service fee for each month my account is open. I understand Millenicom does not prorate the final month of service.
    3.I understand Millenicom reserves the right to suspend my account at any time if the account becomes past due. I further understand that I will be charged a $25.00 re-activation fee in the event my account becomes suspended. I will continue to be responsible for the monthly service fee even if the account is suspended, and if my account is consistently suspended, Millenicom reserves the right to terminate my account.
    4.I understand it is my responsibility to provide Millenicom a current phone number and email address that I check regularly and to notify Millenicom of any changes to my email address or phone number.
    5.I understand I have 24 hours from receipt of the device to test it to be sure it works to my satisfaction. If during that time period I email billing@millenicom.com that tracking number for the return of the device to the address for Millenicom on the Contact Page (6600 SW 92nd Ave #280 Portland OR 97223) I will receive a refund of all charges except the shipping fee once the device is received at that address. After that time no refund will be possible.
    6.I understand it is my responsibility to turn off any roaming ability when I take this device outside the US or near its borders.


    Yes I also was looking for the same info...this is under the "Terms" on their web page.
  • I have the 20 GB plan for 69.99 and they will allow an annual 3 month vacation period with no charge to re-activate.
  • I stop my service from April until November and there is no charge other that the reactivation fee of $19.95.
    I'm really pleased with this service.
