My Cellular Ate My URL For Bargain Computer Laptop Sales

Looking for a friend who needs a 11" or 15" bargain basement grade NEW laptop. Preferably without Windows Suicide Inducing 10. But that may be a bit much to ask for. I would rather deal with a known and proven to you - business.
  • Should answer Moisheh question :)

Guess dislocated shoulders take a while to heal. Sure glad the toad has automatic transmission. Car has new fender and door. Frame straightened. For some stupid reason both fender amber lenses managed to shatter. Same for tail light. Staying home as much as possible. The steering wheel aor bag did not deploy. I was buckled up.

Still getting afternoon headaches and nausea when I first wake up. Some in-bed dizzy spells. I think I am admitting I got whacked harder than I want to believe. Learning to sleep on right side is a chore but if I should roll the other way well to put it mildly I wake up. I have been using ear antibiotic with lidocaine which helps.

The test comes Friday when I drive the semi finished car 435 miles. I promised to order a laptop. So it will be ordered. I do not like the blurry vision I get late at night. But it's a day trip. Maybe an hour at dusk. Looks like the Lenovo wins. I will have better internet in Sta Rosalia.

    Thanks to everyone!
  • I picked up a brand new Lenovo 11" for $180 a few weeks ago on ebay. It's a 1.6 Ghz, dual processor 64-bit system with a 64Gig internal eMMC disk. It came with Windows 10 Pro which was too much for this system. I immediately replaced it with a copy of MintLinux 18.1 and it turned out to be a good little laptop. Just managed to install and get NetBSD running on it which was my goal all along.

There are a number of sellers on ebay that have these available. I suspect Lenovo is dumping the product as it's too underpowered for Windows 10. Not sure if you can get Windows 7 or XP running on it though. My guess would be no since it it UEFI and not BIOS based.
  • Have you gave Chromebooks a go? Mine is fantastic and has quickly become my go-to computer.

    Thanks!

We used ON-LINE QVC and HSN to replace all of our Electronics items... They support it with no interest six easy payments and have lots of additional items in the package...

Took a couple of years but finally got all of the old outdated Electronics replaced...

  • Not far from where I live is a indie computer repair shop. They have new Dell laptops with either Win 7 or Win 10. (Your choice) I bought one with 7.

Perhaps with a bit of exploration you can find such a shop near you.

    g'luck!
