- whjcoExplorerI've run Garmin Basecamp on 2 Windows 10 laptops. Runs fine and I really like Windows 10.
- scrubjaysnestExplorerAfter installing the latest Google Earth I found Mapsource nor Base Camp would launch it from view. The fix is here:BC/Mapsource Google Earth patch.

Love 10. Base Camp works fine on my Asus.
x2. I hunt Bobcats with a buddy of mine. I'm tethered into his Garmin dog tracker with my laptop. We take the Laptop because it has a much bigger picture than the tiny screen on his receiver.
As for my Asus that's another story. 1/2 the letters on the keyboard have worn off. Had to get some white paint and paint new letters on it.
Zero issues with Win 10 and Base Camp. - scrubjaysnestExplorerUp and running both BC and Mapsource on the new Asus about an hour after I turned it on the first time.

Zero issues with Win 10 and Base Camp. - joebedfordNomad IIDW's laptop runs Basecamp just fine. It went from Vista to 7 to 10. It's a Dell 2009 Celeron.
She likes 10: says it's much faster.
My desktop runs Basecamp on 10 too even though it's 6 years old. (but it's still a monster compared to most of today's PCs) - scrubjaysnestExplorerBit the bullet; have ordered an Asus X550AZ. AMD A10 Quad Core with 8 GB of ram, DVD optical drive and 1TB HDD. I may swap that out for a SSD drive later. Now we'll see what happens. Reviews look pretty good although reports of bloatware. Supposed to be easy to remove via control panel and the win 10 version of add/remove programs. Win 10 on DW's machine seems easy to use and get around.

We downloaded 10 to a seven computer a few months ago and we are using Basecamp with no problems.
Well I don't think we have any problems from W 10. We haven't done very much, just a few routes.
What brand and specs on the computer? I've got a gateway nv59 running win 7 and base camp but every time I try the win 10 upgrad I get the BSOD crash.
We have a Toshiba C655. We got it Dec. 2010. It seems to be faster than with Windows 7. - FizzExplorerNo problems with Base Camp on my Acer.
Went from Win 7 to 8 to 8.1 to 10.
Never had a hiccup.
Now that I'm familiar with 10 I don't really remember 7 or 8.
It all looks and feels the same to me. - BelgiqueExplorerLove 10. Base Camp works fine on my Asus.
