RV router question

I like having a dedicated Wireless Access Point on the roof like the ubiquiti bullet which communicates to the campground wifi only, and then inside, have another router with which your devices connect to. Still doesn't mean you will get great bandwidth, but it sure works decent.

Forget CG wifi systems altogether, they all get huge backlogs and are not reliable due to one or all of your neighbors attempting to simultaneously stream live media. Get your own hotspot.

I use a repeater to amplify the received signal to be able to cover my house.

c: router inside connected to outside amplified wifi device, provides access for everthing inside coach

I do this with my cell phone as I travel around to NASCAR tracks and it uses a remarkably small amount of data.....for "simple" data communication (no streaming movies, for instance).

I use the Hotspot in my Note 4. I also use my Verizon MiFi hotspot. And have never had problems connecting. I almost always have issues with major back haul issues using CG WiFi systems.

When we was just using camp ground WIFI we most always ran into hugh problems in the early evenings when everyone got on-line at same time. Finally just gave up on FREE WIFI and got on the VERIZON MIFI plan which gave me a 3GB Data Plan at a real good cost. Been using it ever since. This gives me a secured local HOTSPOT for up to five of my devices at the same time. Using the VERIZON NETWORK works great for us just about anywhere we go... 3GB allows us to check our emails, check in with kids, pay a few bills on-line and just a tad of surfing the internet. It also lets us use our tablets going down the road with very few drop outs...

Having a hotspot is nice but sometimes it is nice to use the campground WIFI. Try a JEFA Tech system to receive and retransmit the WIFI from your own router. I have it and love it.

While this "can" be true, I am in an RV park with EXCELLENT WiFI (better than my hotspot). I bought hardware for less than $70 that allowed by to connect to the parks WiFi that showed a -99 signal with this hardware and I now have a -40 signal and very speedy internet.
