Yes it does. Depends where you are RVing. Apparently you have not experienced being in very hot weather in an RV without the AC.
In Florida the power went out at my CG and within just minutes it was way too hot for me and the dogs to stay in the MH even after I opened the windows.
An RV is nothing more than a big box sitting out in the baking sun. Insulation protection from the heat in an RV is a joke on any model high end or not.
IMHO leaving dogs alone in an RV during the hot summer months with the windows closed because you have the air on is just an accident waiting to happen. Just saying, JMHO
