Tv when tailgating, need tips?

Can anyone help me understand what I can do to improve my access to televised shows when tailgating at football games, without creating s big expense given the rare instances for which I need this? To date, I have simply connected a basic $10 antenna to the tv but given the limited nearby broadcasts, I'm only getting 3 channels. At home and in the big city, I get tons of channels over the air.

I don't want to get a disc and I don't have direct tv, I do have spectrum formerly brighthouse for my cable. This allowed me to feed a hotspot from my phone to my iPad and then connect using hdmi but competition for cell service causes screen freezing and drop coverage.

Maybe the simple answer is some kind of amplified antenna to get longer distance. I only need this 2 times a year so not looking to make much of an investment somyour guidance is appreciated.
