I quit participating in posting photos and anything that has to do with using my Photobucket photos/diagrams, etc,.... and I'm going nuts.Back when I enjoyed photo posting, or photo emailing, a lot, all I had to do is highlight the photo I wanted to include in my post, then click on the box that best suited the presentation,....easy peasy. But NOW, when I click on ANY photo,....sure, it will bring it out and show it by itself (enlarged). HOWEVER, every photo that I choose/select, comes with the slideshow arrows, one on each side. Then, no matter which box on the right side that I click, the slideshow arrows go with the photo. AND, the recipient can operate the slideshow, and view 900+ photos.Does this indicate that there's something faulty with photobucket, or........I have tried communicating with the photobucket Robo assist page, but after I failed to learn how to send them a screenshot of the problem, they marked my problem "resolved".Thank you, to everyone here who tried to help,....before I reworded the description of my problem.I'm still trying to solve it, so if you have anything that could help me solve my problem I sure would appreciate it.

I use the bottom link, "IMG", and remove the top line of URL code and the "URL" at the end of the image.Every time PB makes "Improvements" it makes the site worse to use.

But, do ALL your photos appear with a small black checkbox in the lower right corner? Also, how do you select just one of your photos, for posting?

On the computer, I just open the picture I want, click on the box on right side labeled DIrect, a box will briefly open saying "copied", and the link is ready to paste. I do not click on check marks. Never tried it on iPhone.

I gave up on all photo hosting sites after the Webshots fiasco where I spent years amassing albums of places to share to be shut down. Never again.

I think I know. If you click the image you are copying for just that image and not sharing the album. Let me see if it worked for me. Here is an image from my account.

I see what you mean. I asked for instructions for doing a slideshow, in hopes of this giving me a clue for a solution to my problem. It didn't, and I should've explained that, and I should've thanked you. Sorry

I'm sick of Photobucket nowadays. Its soooo slow, and I get too frustrated. I'm ready to move all my photos to something else.

How about this?

What you do is Create a New Album, put what photos in it you want and copy the Slideshow url to put in like I did.

Humor me, if YOU were to decide that YOU wanted to post 3 or 4 photos in sideshow mode (from your photobucket), how would YOU do it? It came to me that if someone would instruct me how, then it might give me a clue as to how to "deselect" the sideshow mode. Thanks

I would like to see PHotobucket banned from these forums..

Why ban it? Problem is 'some' folks just don't know how to use it.
Here is a photo from my Photobucket collection...looks good, works good.
Maybe the problem isn't Photobucket .

I would like to see PHotobucket banned from these forums. Dropbox works in fact the forums have a dropbox account for us to use for photo posting but Photobucket will not display any photos on my system. so if you want my help and you send me a photobucket link.. You will not get any help from me.

Exactly. That's how mine worked, for many years. Now, I do the same thing, and when I paste it I get the photo alright, EXCEPT it has the arrows, one on each side, and when you click on either arrow, it goes to the next photo, and the next, and the next,....
