Western Canada phone cards

I have European relatives coming to western Canada this summer. They would like to get a prepaid phone card or something to be able to use their phone while travelling. Any suggestions on which carrier is best for BC and Alberta. Is there a better option? SIM card etc? Thanks

    Just have them go to Walmart and buy a burn phone it will be cheaper in the long run

    You can do that in the USA but not in Canada.

    If they are from Europe you may want to stand by to hold their hand when they discover Canada wireless costs :)

    A good stiff shot a Crown Royal should ease the pain...
