white TV ?

anybody know where I might find a 32" white LCD TV ? Looking for a white case front and back. Starting to look like finding BigFoot... everybody knows it's there but nobody knows where there is.

Black is by far the most popular screen surround because the dark framing provides a visual pop to the screen colors and the contrast otherwise improves the image perception.

    CORRECT!

I will add that one must be careful to SKIP ANY AND ALL GLOSSY LCD SCREENS. You WANT/NEED a MATTE LCD screen otherwise it will have reflections of the room making it hard to see through the reflections.

I don't understand as to why anyone would want a glossy LCD screen but the manufactures DO make them. A high gloss screen is terrible for anything other than a completely DARK (IE NO LIGHT WHATSOEVER) and even then the glossy screen shines it's self like a mirror.

I once made that mistake (fortunately it was a 15" LCD which wasn't all that expensive) ONCE, will never, ever do that again...

I'll add that I intentionally bought matte black framing in order to inhibit those distracting reflections on the glossy framing from any external sources of light in the area /room.

    Cielo White TV

BINGO!! Thank you sir! Wally World is about the only site I didn't check and it didn't come up in a Google/Froogle search.
    again...Thank you!

why? Wife just had a 12 x 42 sunroom added to back of the house, everything is white and glass. One corner is available for me to insert a TV...."only if it matches" I shouldn't have spent so much on the truck and 5'ver, she wants her's now.

Found some on ebay-searched '32" LED white TV" Imagine that amazon would have them as well.

Pricey-I'd consider disassembling and painting the case if I wanted a white TV that badly!

Didn't see any in 32" on Amazon, however I quit searching after a dozen pages.

Perhaps you could post the Ebay link you found for the OP?

32"? Doubtful, can't say I have ever seen a all white cased LCD TV.

Small 13" and under YES you can find white "novelty" portable TVs.

Not sure as to why you want all white, the screen is gonna be totally black when off. That is going to make the screen stick out like a sore thumb. Not to mention if the back and sides of the TV are exposed to a lot of sunlight they WON'T stay white for long, instead they will turn many ugly shades of yellow (it's the nature of plastic).

Instead of worrying about the color look for one that has a "borderless" case, these have a very small (often 1/2" or a bit less) border..

Then if you are trying to make the back look pretty perhaps make a "cover" with FRP (fiberglass reinforced paneling found at Home Depot) for the back to hide it...
