Im really liking 10 and it fixed my sluggish laptop. I have always used one of my photos for a desk top picture but in 10 they are always stretched out. Cant figure out how to make the picture normal. Anyone know how?

Use "Fill" not "Fit"

Got frustrated and gave up for a while. Might do the edit deal. Funny the same pic worked on 7, They make nothing that's fool proof anymore.

I had the same issue with some photos when I was wanting to try a different desktop picture. Some came up so big you only got a small part on the screen. I tried a couple of other pictures and one worked perfectly. I wish I knew why.
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

A last resort would be to edit the picture to the resolution of the desktop.

Tried both suggestions. Neither worked. Set to fit, nothing changed.

Try adjusting the screen resolution - s/b under system settings and/or your graphic card usually has similar adjustment software.

Put the picture on your desktop like before. Then right click on the picture. A box will open. Click on "Personalize."
A new box will open. At the bottom of that box you can choose a "fit" for your desktop picture...
