Winegard Carryout GM700 use in US for Shaw Direct

Can anyone confirm that the Winegard Carryout GM700 portable satellite dish will work in the US to receive Shaw Direct programming and what, if any, special adjustments might have to made to this unit? I know the Wingard web site states Canada only, but I have heard references that it may work in the US as well. Any information here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Dish size is too small and it quite likely that the manual skew adjustment would not align very far S. of the border. Tripod BIG! Carryout SMALL! Shaw still works in Mexico if you have a large Shaw antenna on a tripod or a Winegard Trav'ler.

I would like to know why it would not bring in the satellite if it is an automatic satellite find it should work I bring in Shaw direct on my tripod in Texas and I have been reading that right today people Are bringing in Shaw direct In Florida Arizona so I would like to know why it would not bring it in

I can confirm that the GM700 is likely NOT going to work in the US. It might work in some parts of the N. US but it's not going to work in any snowbird locations.
