Winegard Carryout.......Need Control Info

I acquired a supposedly good working single LNB Winegard Carryout, but it is missing the control/power cable.
Other than the coax fittings which power the LNB, the power plug has only 2 wires, red and black, which I would assume is battery pos & neg ?
Is this all that is needed to get this fired up ? If so, can I assume the cord has like a 12v liter plug on the RV end ?
Thanks for any info on this.

    Yes. Good Luck.

  • Yes, you can order a new plug from Winegard $$$$ or my make up a black/red wires setup of your own. It is wired to any good 12V source or a 120V to 12V adapter. The Red wire is the positive connection. Black to negative.
The dome needs to be removed and there are 8 dip switches that will allow you to set it for Dish or DirecTV. The manual is available on line from Winegard.
  • Thanks guys.
