Found some a solution:
click the GEAR (top right) and select "Settings".
Select "Viewing Emails". There, first turn OFF the "conversations" and click SAVE.
See if that helps. For many, it does.
If not, return there, scroll to the bottom and click BASIC and SAVE.

I want the NSA to know what I am doing so nearly all of my accounts are Gmail! What exactly do you think the NSA wants from you? If you are concerned then maybe they should be as well.
If they want to see the latest pictures I uploaded of our cats on Facebook, they are welcome to it. Maybe they will nominate me for a photography Pulitzer!

Gmail is more directly linked to NSA. That's why I have an account but only use it for spam in.

The new Yahoo mail looks an *awful lot* like Gmail, but I guess that's no surprise since their CEO was employee #20 at Google.
Too bad he also didn't increase the security of the free Yahoo Mail to at least GMail standards. A little research will likely indicate Yahoo Mail the most compromised email of the major free email providers.

Just because you've chosen Yahoo mail (or Gmail for that matter) for your email provider doesn't mean you have to use their web page to access your mail. Why not access your mail using a third party email client like Thunderbird or Windows Live Mail?
