- wny_pat1ExplorerAny good reputable auto body shop. They know how to remove the bumper facia and all that stuff. Just make sure they know to follow the base plate instructions to a T and to use LOCTITE® RED on all the nuts and bolts that they are suppose to use it on.
- rockhillmanorExplorerAfter checking out automotive shops and watching their eyes glaze over I took mine to an RV dealership. No sweat they've done thousands of them and knew what they were doing. Camping World is another good place too.
I had a fit problem with my base plate. BlueOx base plate listed for my car did not fit. Dealership knew right away what to do and I was still out of there as scheduled. I doubt an auto shop could have done the same. Just saying. - DUNEBUGGYDOUGExplorerWhat kind of vehicle?? I installed one on a CR-V myself. It wasn't hard to do , worst part was removing the plastic bumper
- trop-a-calExplorerCheck with any hitch installers as they can do it with instructions.
