Cooking question

Back when we bought our TT a couple of weeks ago, I made the assumption we would cook on the stove/oven/MW and add a portable grill for outside grilling. I've now come to the realization that we won't want to do a lot of cooking inside, because of the potentially overpowering odors (bacon comes to mind - and I plan on having it for breakfast A LOT).

Sooooo... Do we need to add a camp stove to our ever-growing list of camping accessories to buy, or can I find a portable grill that would perform double-duty? Your thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated by these noobie campers! Thanks!!

We use a camp chef stove with griddle top and rarely cook inside unless the weather is just too bad. We camp with a group a lot of times and cook for the group a lot for breakfast etc. I can fry 2 lbs of bacon at a time easily.

My solution is to do most of my cooking outside, using a Coleman Grill Stove.

I love love LOVE my Nuwave! We use it inside and outside. My only regret is not buying two the first time.

There are some grills that also have a separate (additional cost) griddle top option, which might meet the OP's need for double duty. Could also get the pre-cooked bacon and just heat in the microwave, which we do both at home and on the road.

Last couple of years I've cook a lot of bacon at home, put in plastic bag and freeze. Little can I tell the difference when pulled out of freezer warmed it up. Last batch I cooked up was 8 pounds and lasted a long time. Other side benefits is that I discovered that the more cooking I do at home the less mess of packaging, hence less trash and quicker I could get on road in morning because of less clean up. We have found pre-cooking real handy.

Cook inside all the time. Just turn on roof vents and open one window a little. To draw in fresh air.

We use a portable grill with a long hose with a quick disconnect so it is attached to the RV gas line and can sit on a table under the awning...also have a built in outside cooktop...we use themmore than the inside stove.

Inside cooking is almost always done with windows open and bedroom exhaust fan running. The stove vent fan is noisy and sucks the heat out of the pans.

Fried potatoes make the most stink, but the fan takes care of that in a couple hours. I do not let odors from cooking loiter in the coach.
