Both Coach Net & GS ERS are calling the same tow truck companies. If the tow service is closed on a Sunday or holiday doesn't matter which service you have.
I have to disagree. they may share some companies in the same area but not always.
The difference (I have told this story before) is that Coachnet will go out of their network if they need to. Case in point, toad broke down in downtown Pittsburg (yes coachnet covers all your vehicles as well as MH, dolly, trailer etc) . Called Coachnet, they ensured I was in a safe location etc, they called back after 10 minutes advising a tow driver on the way. Called again to make sure we were safe with an ETA, and then again a few minutes later to make sure they got there and we were taken care of. This driver was not in their network. Once they could not reach a driver in their network (holiday weekend) they just started going through the phone book until they found someone available and paid the driver up front. Essentially regardless it was one in their network or not, they went the extra mile and got me someone. Good Sam will NOT do that. So the driver gets there, nicest fella, and takes us back to our CG. An hour away and what would have been $300 cost me nothing. We talked, he said he avoids GS calls because they don’t pay them til 30-60 days later and then it’s at a negotiated rate. Said sometimes GS calls are not worth the hassle to get paid less and late and often with a lot of paperwork etc. He said Coachnet paid him in full up front with no negotiations. He said he’s in their network now. Told me COachnet was the best RSA out there. That’s good enough for me. Who do you want working for you?
