- DevocamperExplorerMy Good Sam ERS is up this month , have had them for at least ten years now , every year at this time I think about changing to coach net but have always just renewed GS, I think we are at the mercy of who they contact to help you since they are not providing the service they are just making the call. It Does get me upset that a long term customer renewing pays full price to renew and a new customer get a discount go figure!! maybe changing each year is the way to go ?
- ferndaleflyerExplorer IIIUsed Good Sam yesterday to change a flat on the car.....over the years I have used them several times without a problem Never tried Coach Net.
- xctravelerExplorerJust be sure you have one of them! Have had Coach-net since we bought our first coach in 2001 and the dealer gave us free year. Used it twice on that coach for tows! Thanked the dealer and kept Coach-net.
Haven't had a tow in 10 years or more.Have called them for tech support and to locate a service center in an out of the way place. They have been very helpful. I am less dependent on them now since we have a Freightliner and the FL 24/7 helpline is always there to answer a question about what to do in a pinch - the other day the "water in fuel" light came on. The help line told us to get some additive and keep driving - call back if it doesn't clear in an hour or so. It cleared before I put in the additive, but put it in anyhow. - SnomasExplorerWe were towed by GS to a local truck repair in Gallup $400. and after several days they could not fix engine problem and then GS towed us to Albuquerque and they covered the $1900.cost. Can't beat that.
- rgatijnet1Explorer IIIHad both and did not have a problem with either. The main reason why I switched to CoachNet was because if you have a problem, you can talk to a tech on the phone that may help you solve your issue yourself without the need to send out a mechanic.
With Good Sams you cannot do this. - USMC46ExplorerI have had to use Coach Net and it was amazing service. Good Sam might also be good. But my experience with Coach Net has ensured that as long as I have an RV, I will have Coach Net.
- hankoExplorercoach net, Not good scam
- Sully2Explorercoach net
- Skid_Row_JoeExplorerWhat is the least expensive way to get the high-grade towing service coverage from coach-net?
Do I need to belong to FMCA first, to get the best annual towing rates/coverages?
Also, I need the towing coverage to take my coach to the nearest Ford Heavy Duty Service Center. Not the nearest garage. Not all Ford dealers will work on the heavy/Super Duty motorhome chassis.
Thanks! - EffyExplorer IIDo a search, this topic comes up pretty frequently.
Coachnet.
