Installing P3 break controllers to 2015 F150

Hello to all and my apologies for re-post

Attached is a picture of what I have to work with. My question is, do I just link the wires to one another and then place the plugs into their perspective houses? Grey under the dashboard and black to P3?seems fairly easy but just want to be 100% sure. Thanks, again!
  • I spliced my P1 harness into the Ford harness. If you go that route, splice by function and not by color. I also mounted the P1 in the stock location. Over on the F150 forum there were pics posted on taking the dash apart to do this, there's probably YouTube videos by now.
  • I would skip the P3 and get a real Ford controller on Ebay. Way better.
  • order or purchase the adaptor for your truck.. plug and play to P3

I removed my P3 from my Dodge this summer but the Ford had the Ford brake controller from the factory...

Dodge, I did the adaptor .. all so EASY.

UNLESS, your truck does not have the Towing package..

then 4 wires from controller into wires under the dash
and 7 wires to rear bumper..

Er78, You should be able to get a harness that will plug into the trucks wiring under the dash then just match wires per instructions and plug it in.
