Senior Mobilehome Community in Grass Valley with 80+ mobile homes and large RV storage lot needs a positive, friendly two person management team. We are seeking a couple for this position, not just one person.
Experience managing an apartment complex, mobile home park, RV park, or mini storage would be preferred, but not required. We are looking for a team with strong people and customer service skills, and related work experience that can be used in these positions.
The office manager must have computer skills that include typing, scanning, emailing, and internet searching. If you are knowledgeable in using Excel and Word that would be helpful. Previous experience with a computerized billing system will be a plus. Bookkeeping knowledge including pro-rating, debits, and credits is required. A detail oriented, organized, self starter will fit right in.
A primary responsibility of the office manager will be to enter monthly meter reads for utility consumption, review, print and distribute monthly bills to residents, receive and post payments, deposit checks into the bank, and prepare and serve required delinquent notices.
The office manager will also meet with prospective residents to process applications for tenancy, and determine acceptability for tenancy with help from the regional property manager.
You will be interacting with our residents and assisting them with their questions and concerns regarding the park. You will be responsible for ensuring the clubhouse, restrooms and laundry facilities are clean and ready for resident use every day.
The maintenance manager is a hands on manager and performs routine community maintenance. This person will also supervise and direct the work of another maintenance person. The responsibilities of the maintenance manager include cleaning and maintenance of the park office, clubhouse, rest rooms, laundry room, streets, and RV storage yard.
Painting, light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills are needed for this position to maintain the park owned homes and park facilities. The park also owns the utility systems in the park, so the oversight and/or maintenance of the water, sewer, gas, and electric systems are also part of the maintenance manager's job. An overall handyman maintenance person with the above skills who also has experience in grounds keeping, and janitorial maintenance will be a great fit for this position.
