- Sloop_SmittenExplorerI purchased a Sceptre 19" HD/DVD combo from Walmart for about the same price as the Insignia. It came with a 120V/12VDC adapter so I rigged a 12V plug for it and don't need AC voltage to run it.

One thing to remember when purchasing a TV for the RV is to look at the viewing angle, if you can go to the store and sit lower then off to each side to see what it looks like at those angles.
Most times in a RV you wont be looking straight on at it. I found out the hard way after buying and returning 2 TVs, that sometimes at those angles the screen is washed out or black making them un-viewable.
After buying a Samsung and a RCA I found a Insignia that has a much larger viewing angle. I Run it off a small inverter or AC if I have hookups.
In my RV with the TV in the front or the rear bedroom you have to look up at it. This TV works great in both areas.
I agree with determining the viewing angle, that is one of the reasons I bought the Insignia 19"/DVD. Now with BluRay player, I moved that set to the guest bedroom in the S&B and the new set has the same wide viewing angle. - IAMICHABODExplorer IIOne thing to remember when purchasing a TV for the RV is to look at the viewing angle, if you can go to the store and sit lower then off to each side to see what it looks like at those angles.

Pretty happy with it but don't use the DVD much. Keep it in the stick house bedroom in the off season and it has been flawless so far. Paid about $130 for it also.
- noplace2ExplorerBearing in mind that you can get winners and losers from any brand, we have a 19" Toshiba combo in our BR that has served us well for over 6 years and 60K+ miles, some of them VERY rough.
In fairness, we do not have it permanently mounted. When we travel, it resides between 2 pillows on the bed. When we stop, it takes 2 minutes to place it on its shelf and hook it up. That procedure has likely contributed to its service record. We do the same thing with the 32" in the LR.
Setting up both TV's, the DVR and the surround might take 10 minutes on a lazy day. Worth the cushioning effort, we think. - D_E_BishopExplorer

HERE is one. We have the bigger version in our home bedroom. Very happy with the product.
That's the one I was going to suggest. I have four Insignia sets and they're pretty reliable.
