I have a 2006 Ford F350 4WD and just purchased my first toyhauler-a 2012 K-Z Inferno 3410T. It is advertised as having the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust brakes as standard equipment.
My F350 owners manual states:
"The Ford TBC has only been verified to be compatible with
trailers having electric-actuated drum brakes (one to four axles)
and not hydraulic surge or electric-over-hydraulic types."
I want to confirm that the Nev-R-Adjust brakes are electric actuated and not hydraulic or electric over hydraulic before I tow this 10K+ unit across Denver, and most importantly, up and over Colorado mountain passes.
Is JBarca in the house? I have read many of his posts and he is clearly and rightfully recognized as one of the real experts in the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust brakes arena.
Thanks in advance for your responses!
