2014 Hideout door window and room Window leaking?

I am buying a used keystone hideout 28BHSWE camper and when I did the walk through the were two little drips of water coming from just above the window on the door in the bathroom and above the window in the bedroom area. Both dripping very slowly. Not the roof, but above the windows it looks like where the window meets the siding of the camper. There were no signs of leaking on the roof at all, no wet spots, no stains nothing. After seeing those we looked in every corner of the campers ceiling for any sign of leaking. There was nothing. The dealership agreed to fix the leaks and thought it might be just the caulking above those two windows. Now They said they have fixed the leaks and i'm picking the camper up this weekend. I don't know if it will be raining or not to test the leaks. Just curious if anyone has had this happen on their camper if it was just the seal on the window or if there is something else i need to look for? I am going to ask if they will ensure its fixed and if not to fix it again. Being a used camper i am not sure they will do it. Even Being a 2014. But if anyone has any input on this it would be great. I am not sure if its a common thing to happen or if i should worry about it being a big issue. Thanks
  • Demand a pressure test of the unit in your presence before paying anything.
  • I never thought about that, I'm not sure if they are set up to do anything like that...
  • If you see new screws after they fixed, probably because old ones were to rusted out to re-use. If old screws are still there maybe they only put some caulk on to look good. That's to your benefit actually. Because you could pull a screw or two and see how rusty. Most screws are a little bit rusty, but a lot of rust, screw is getting wet some somewhere. Seal test is a good idea.
