air compressor advice needed
Looking at getting the porter cable air compressor 6 gallon 150psi for basically airing up tires on TV and trailer but would like to run a few small tools off it is this a good air compressor for that...

I bought a PC 6-gallon compressor brand new at Lowes a couple of years ago. Just recently the regulator froze up and would not allow me to put 80 lbs pressure into my truck tires. I was sick, (especially when I found that a new regulator costs +45.00). Well, now for the rest of the story- I called PC's 1-800 service number, told lady what was wrong with compressor. She sent me a complimentary brand new regulator free of charge. I changed it out, it works great! I was very impressed that they did this enlight of the fact that it was well out of warranty. I love the fact that it only weighs 38 lbs. Keep it in storage bay of my 5w, just for airing up tires & blowing out water lines.
