- chris3403ExplorerIn 2015 my wife and I used it 8 times, sometimes the hosts furnished us with everything: water, electric, sewer and wifi. Best $25 we ever spent. We enjoyed it so much that although we knew we wouldn't be using it in 2016 we renewed anyways.
- TripalotExplorerWe were some of the first Boondockers members. We have used it many times and all have been good experiences over the years. One big advantage is that often when campgrounds are full, or not in the area you want you stop, a boondockers site might serve your needs. This has worked well for us when we travel and return from Snowbirding and a lot of campgrounds are not open for the season.
How well it works for you depends on where you are going. Also, having a smaller size RV is advantageous. - pianotunaNomad IIIHi,
I prefer:

It even has a trip planner.ivbinconned wrote:

Worth the investment? - ivbinconnedExplorer IIWe will be sliding down through Idaho and I note there is a host just north of Pocatello.
That might be about where we would get to on first or second night. - DownTheAvenueExplorerI was a member of Harvest Hosts, where mostly wineries but also some farms, hosted boondockers in exchange for the anticipation that the boondocker would buy something from their store. Boondockers Welcome and Harvest Hosts did not work well for me. Often you have to email the host, or at least call minimum of 24 hours in advance. That was too restricting on my schedule, as I like to be much more spontaneous.
- ivbinconnedExplorer IIPianotuna that is a great site!
We from north of Toon.
