Brain Fart for those who don't have washing machine onboard

I read a tip in RVtravel.com about using a plastic tub with some soapy water and your dirty clothes being placed in the shower floor so that while you are traveling down the road your clothes are jostled around and the vibration of the road washing your clothes. When you get to your destination just rinse them and they are ready to dry. I was thinking that most RV'ers carry some type of air compressors and if maybe the air hose could be placed at the bottom of a larger tub of clothes and be used as a "bubbler" to do your laundry while in a stopped location. Has anyone ever experimented with this concept? I suspect if you had the "bubbler" set-up correctly it could generate enough turbulence to get lightly soiled clothes clean but maybe could not handle heavily soiled clothes.
For the heavy soiled clothes you need to place them in an old walmart 5 gallon paint bucket and when you stop overnight at walmart take it in and ask them if they could mix this "paint" for you. lol
