It will pull it no problem, plenty of power and gearing, but as mentioned you need to watch the payload. Just 2 in the truck? you should be ok. Four linebackers and a bed full of wood? Not so much.
A little over payload won't kill it either but stay below the axle and tire ratings for sure. For comparison, I towed my current tt at 7600lbs with an '07 crewmax. Pulled great ( better than my current Ram 2500) but with the family on board we were 300lbs over payload. I did upgrade tires to E rated.
