Have any members has experience with the Cap Fear National Park, particularly the Visitor Center at Harker Island? I am volunteering there in February and March, the ranger seemed very nice on the phone but would like to have some feedback if you have been there.

That's kind of surprising to hear. We signed up this past August to work there Jan-Apr. Guess they changed their mind about us. Hope it works for you....

As volunteers work four 8 hour days and the park is open seven days they probably have more than one volunteer.

It really helps to know where you will be working!

Please excuse my total lack of political correctness and thanks so much for your assistance. However, if you take the time to go to the website you will find it is a part of the National Park Service.

I can't find anything on it. I don't think it's a national park. Good luck!
