Coffeyville, KS - Amazon needs YOU - EARN $10.50 per hour!

I still need some additional campers for our Coffeyville, KS location.

In Coffeyville you will get a PAID campsite as well as PAID utilities (except propane), $10.50 per hour base pay, time & one half for all overtime, a completion bonus of $1 per hour if you work until released on Dec 23rd if not earlier, (so it's like earning $11.50 per hour) and you get the Amazon employee discount while you are working for us.

The people in Coffeyville are friendly, you'll be there for the Dalton Days Rodeo, and we have some fun events planned for campers while you are with us.

I need to hear from you NOW! TO APPLY: www.amazon.com/camperforce

Thanks Marsland - you did a great job at answering the questions!

To add to this, beyond stowing & picking (which are both jobs that require a lot of walking) we also have receiving & packing. Receiving is logging in merchandise from the trucks, checking for damage & prepping for stowing. Packing is taking the products ordered & putting them in packages & sending out. We occasionally use campers for gift wrap too.

We try to on-board people on the date they tell us the are available - once a specific date's training is filled, that date will close out. We generally do this on a first come, first serve basis.

We have a profile up on coolworks.com about Amazon & the Amazon CamperForce program if you want more information or you can contact me personally at petrusch@amazon.com and I can provide you with more info as well.

a couple of questions about amazon jobs.

1, what are shift hrs.. is see they have a day and night. when do they typically start and stop.

2. what type of jobs do most campers have access to..

3. how much is the employee discount? and can you order and get stuff shipped to friends and family like normal.

4. how early do people start working. I have seen some people start in august and others in oct.

3. You can have your order shipped wherever you wish. Some sign up for the 30 day free trial Prime offer which includes free shipping. We elected to keep the Prime which is only $70 for the year I think.

2. Depending on the facility the CamperForce jobs include: Receiving, Stowing, Picking, and Packing. ICQA is available sometimes. Within each of these basic positions there are other jobs that you might possibly be trained to do as well.
Both retired. Travel with Nicky the Schnoodle. Son graduated and is teaching high school math. We still love our 2006 34' Allegro Bay XB and have 50,000+ miles on her.

carl2591,

I will try to answer your questions. This is from my experience working the last three weeks at Fernley, NV. Couple of things you need to understand, you work hard, walk or stand the entire shift, and you work at Amazons convenience, they will try to accommodate you but in the end you go where they need you.

1. Normal work week is 4 days, 10 hrs/day. Day shift is 7:00am to 5:30pm. Night shift is 6:00pm till 4:30am. Shift schedules are Sun to Wed, Mon Tue Thur Fri, and Wed to Sat. Can't remember but there might be a Thur to Sun shift also. Some overtime is voluntary, some mandatory.

2. Stowing, what we do, basically putting merchandise from carts into storage bins. Picking, basically retrieving merchandise from storage bins and transferring to shipping (another position) for packaging and shipping to the customer. There are other positions but those are probably the most used by Amazon for campers.

3. 10 percent for the first $1000 spent. Second part, I think so but can't recall right now.

4. They hire over a period of time. In the application process you are asked when your earliest available start date is. No guarantee on that being your start date though.

Here is the web site for the Fernley, NV site job description. I'm sure the other sites have one also but this will give you more info.

I posted yesterday that I had not been contacted...a response from Pamela indicated that she would be on it. She was. I received a late evening email yesterday from Coffeyville, and an email today with some papers to fill out. They have been returned; hopefully all will go well.

At what point in time should we be hearing from Coffeyville as to confirmation of start date and times? Last we heard, we were to start Oct 17, but no details. We don't want to wait until the last minute, only to find out date has been changed. But don't want to be pushy about it, either. ๐Ÿ™‚ Just excited to start our new adventure!

Are they still hiring for Coffeyville I've left voicemails and emails and there hasn't been any replies. I've been working for Amazon the last four Holiday seasons and was expecting to do it again this year.

While I haven't called, I've yet to hear anything to an application filled out about a week ago, and an email since Thursday is not answered. Amazon should be more timely with responses and if they no longer need help...say so at this forum and all of the other places they have ads. There are ads everywhere asking for workers!
