I have used a white coiled hose for over 5 years now and it works just fine. Easy to store. My only complaint was I could only get a white one in the half inch size I prefer 5/8". I am still using it and would not part with it. The o/p who mentioned the coils present a trip hazard is right. Then so is your sewer hose, and a myriad of other things around an RV. Awning struts get me every time.
