We desired a front kitchen plan with significant counter space as we cook most of our meals. More than once when I questioned the lack of counter space in a particular unit the sales person somewhat tried to inform us "people who buy these don't cook - they eat most of their meals out". :R So why prey tell would someone spend money on something then have no intention of using?
Granted, we do eat a lot of our meals out; on the picnic table next to the motorhome. :) We do use our kitchen for all meal preparations and that means we want a considerable of counter real estate.
Dick that is rather funny to have a salesperson suggest that people eat most meals out! Why indeed would we spend all that money to not use the kitchen..... I use mine to the fullest and push it to the max!
As for me, I didn't bring my RV to frozen Alberta for the comfort of it all!! It's been a struggle! Minus 34C isn't easy in a 3 season TT!! I brought it to save money. I still have to pay my mortgage at home.
I cook virtually all my meals here. Eating out is expensive. I could have bought a hotel while working here but do the math on that one, along with eating out all the time. I came here November 12 last year, home for a month over Christmas and back here since late January. I haven't seen my wife or family since Jan. 26. Can't imagine what it would have cost without the RV!
I am seriously looking at a 4 season unit to upgrade to and one of the considerations will be a little more real estate in the kitchen than just enough to make a peanut butter sandwich!!
