Dometic Power Awning Issue

Question

All of a sudden my awning retracts every 10 minutes no matter what. I was wondering if it could be the sensor on the end of the awning? The control box lights go crazy when its doing this switchng between the different wind speed options,has any one else ever have similar situation? If I turn off the wind sensor the awning will stay out. Thank you!

It could be the wind sensor. It could also be a low voltage problem. If its like mine its powered from your chassis battery. If it senses less that 12v it will automatically retract. This happens to me when I parked at a seasonal site for an extended period of time.
Just a thought.

We had a problem with the sensor's  cord getting wet.  Replaced it and it was fine.

The same thing was going on with mine.  Per the owner's manual I cleaned the sensor and it started working normally.  It started acting up again and I turned off the sensor for a couple days.  When I turned the sensor back on it again worked properly and has done so since.

unfortuantly, I tried the cleaning of sensor, still not working, in fact now the control box just blinks at 18 and 16 MPH together, something definalty wrong. I am hoping just sensor, any other thougths would be helpful. I am going to check the voltage that could be it.

Well,mine is stuck open right now.Looks to be a control circuit pack.
