I'm sure he knows that :)
We're just wondering where the OP is and if they'll ever respond.
Believe it or not, there are members out there that will post a question just to see what kind of trouble they can stir up. An OP that opens the can and never responds is suspect.
So with no response and the subject beat to death AGAIN,
CLOSED - NRALIFRExplorerA handful of cranky safety wonks being against it doesn’t make it a consensus.
:):) - mike-sExplorerDo, or don't do. There is no consensus.

Time for this debate again already?
There should be a sticky for this subject, among some other popular ones. No offense meant, but does anyone ever search for answers before posting an inquiry?
RichH - Grit_dogNavigatorSheesh! You guys that don't drive with propane on probably don't let your kids ride in the camper either....
I used to not drive with the fridge on propane, but got tired of stopping to buy ice......so I bought a RV with a fridge! - Skid_Row_JoeExplorer

Yep. Short and to the point.
My refer is always on on propane. - 2oldmanExplorer IIop?
- TXicemanExplorer IIBeen using propane on the fridge since 1984 on the road. Never an issue. We arrive with cold beer and frozen icecream. And we have not blown up anything yet.
There are trucks on the road that run from propane or other forms of a compressed gas. They cannot shut off the tanks and operate.
Ken - CavemanCharlieExplorer IIII leave it on when towing my TT.
To answer your next question in advance : I do not shut it off when refueling either.
