equipment needed to tow my 2007 crv

hello I just purchased a 2007 Honda crv to tow behind my 31ft class c motor home can you please tell me what I need to buy I know I need a base plate that mounts to the frame behind the front bumper and that's all I know but im sure there is more. thanks mark

  • BTW We have towed the 04 CRV 75K miles and it's been driven 75K miles so good choice on your part. The only significant problem was last month when a front wheel bearing had to be replaced.

    BE SURE you follow the CRV towing directions EVERY TIME. DW and I always check the turn signals, brake lights and pull a few feet for a check. One time the power cable wasn't completely plugged in and another time the ebrake was set. All communicated with hand held radios.
  • You need the base plate, the tow bar, safety cables, electrical connections for the running lights and turn signals and brake lights, an auxiliary brake for the toad and a break away safety cable.

    There is a wide variation of equipment and options to choose from.
