We also bought a x-rental with high mileage. I too saw a lot of language in warranty that made me think warranty was written so seller could get out of paying anything, just like any warranty from any dealer IMO. Fast forward 6 years and we have enjoyed this RV more than others we have had. No major problems. When our trans does go we are going to do the Ford dealer remanufacture thing so we can get service most anywhere. I think you'll get wringles worked out in time as El Monte (stories I've researched prior to buying ours) gives a little bit better support than the other major rental place where we bought ours.
