First off welcome to the Forum and second I am sorry that you had a problem with your Ex Rental. As you can see in my signature I also own a Ex Rental from El Monte RV.
I have had many trouble free miles on my rig and am very happy with it.
It would seem that they are stepping up to the plate and making things right. I have been in their shop in Santa Fe Springs for a minor repair and they bent over backward to make sure that I was happy.
I met with the General Manager when I was finalizing the deal and he made it very clear that if anything happened during the Warrantee period, to call him personally to get it fixed in his shop or get it to a shop to get it fixed. He also made it clear that his reputation for service would not be tarnished by someone else.
I found that quite refreshing and honest. They all seemed to have that mind set.
Please keep us informed of the outcome and maybe post about it on the Thread Buying a Rental Class C so others can hear about Buying a Ex Rental from a real owner of one.
