Facebook Marketplace - looking for an RV.

First of, I'm not a big fan of FB and avoid it like the Plague.

I've used Craiglist for years and have been super happy but looks
like times are changing and people are moving to FB.

I'm in the market for a small class c (Sprinter types are coming to
the top of my list) and have started my search in all the usual
places (RVtrader, RVT, Craigs). I've recently started looking on
FB but it's either me or the search engine stinks.

The listings are not broken down into classes (A, B, B+ C etc) and the
only way I can whittle down the list is to insert "diesel" in the
search engine (which may not catch all the ones I'm interested in).

And when you find a listing - there is virtually no details and maybe
a max of 3 photos.

SO, is it me or is there a way to improve the search criteria?

We bought out new to us 30' Toy Hauler off FB Marketplace. The seller was more than willing to email and text us additional details and all the photos we wanted.

No problem with getting in contact with owner and asking for more details and pics.

Since you don't like Face Book, why use it? RT Trader has good listings, lots of photos and can search by type, distance and price.

How many can your marketplace possibly have? Are you searching nation wide?

Searching nationwide, so hundreds of listings; I scrolled down
several pages before I found Class C in the size I was looking;


I don't mind doing a fly and drive if I find the right floor-plan;

FB seems to be a total waste of time so far - and it seems there
is no easy way to filter results (and yes I was in the RV section);

How many can your marketplace possibly have? Are you searching nation wide? I think you are going stir crazy. How much trouble is it to quickly slide by a hundred even two hundred ads, and stopping only when you see your quarry

You need to look wher the RVers are. Try rvnetwork.com and irv2.com

That's the problem with buying private. The ad is only as good as the seller makes it. You need to respond to any you think might be what you are looking for and ask questions.

I, have what you want,but its not for sale. I found mine on google.no fb for me either .
