Fading Front Cap

any large truck shop that does paint will have the space and will know how to paint fibreglass...that's what they do.

I imagine a truck shop maybe OK however the boat places are familiar with fiberglass and have big enough spaces to handle RV's.

It's not a big deal to have it painted. Don't need to go to a marine shop. A good epoxy primer/sealer followed by a base coat/clear coat automotive paint will take care of it. Your biggest problem will be finding someone with a large enough paint booth. Had mine done where they paint semi trucks and buses. There is no other way to correct this problem. Many of the manufacturers have gone to painted caps as opposed to color infused gel-coat. If you have a fiberglass molded rear cap that it won't be long before that goes also. It can be painted for somewhere between $900.00 and $1500.00. Any more than that and they are charging too much. I had one quote for $8,000.00...needless to say I won't be going back there..ever.

Consider yourself lucky in a way. At least yours faded while still under warranty. Many owners notice the fading soon after the warranty runs out and are left to pick up the tab.

To your question. I got a quote from an independent RV shop near me for a paint job. Another guy on a different forum got his painted at a shop that paints IIRC semis and other large items of that nature.

Consider using a marine body shop or somewhere that repairs boats
