For what it's worth, I cleaned and scrubbed down the front of my 2005 trailer last week, it was very dull and chalky....I then applied 4 coats of the ZEP high gloss floor wax. The thing looks amazing! I bet you can see the shine from outer space! I am going to do the rest of the camper this weekend. Hopefully it will hold up over time, but from an instant gratification standpoint, it's a 10+

I have a 2014 Outback with the dreaded faded cap and have been trying to get Keystone to paint the cap. I'm out of the 1 year warranty so they don't want anything to do with me. They know they had a problem with the gel coat and are now coming painted from the factory. Now I have to bite the bullet and pay $2500 to get my $35000 Outback fixed!

If you are the original owner.....Cedar Creek has been very good about replacing them with a new version that is supposed to have a better quality gel coat. Contact Denise Davis @ Didavis@forestriverinc.com She is supposed to be THE guru in charge of getting this fixed. If you are not the original owner they won't be much help. In that case the best cure is to have it painted. I tried the floor wax thing on my last rig and while it looked god for awhile, it then started to crystalize and turned into a mess. Painting or possibly replacement is the only long term cure. been there done that.
