Lots of solar sellers that would love your business.
In this day an age with all the technologies available you would think the aftermarket vendors would jump on the chance to sell noise reduction devises to generator owners...
Don't need much power in the rain. That is what a battery is for. Or get a bigger battery.- Chum_leeExplorer

Actually it's faded kinda pink. Does that make it quieter??
No. But if you keep leaving it out in the sun, someone may steal it. That WILL make it more quiet.
Chum lee - pianotunaNomad IIIMine do 3 amps in heavy rain, and 7 amps in leafy shade.

There is one really low cost silencer for generators. Buy one. Countless owners on here continue to say, "Mine is quiet, yours is noisy". Paint is another great noise reduction system. Red is quiet, Blue is pretty quiet, and all others are loud.

They have. Making genny's quiet generally makes them more expensive, larger, and heavier. Making them cheap, light, and portable makes them sell better. The consumer votes with their wallet. It's that simple.

Chum Lee answered the question. Any device that makes the generator quieter also makes it more expensive. - Chum_leeExplorer
