In this day an age with all the technologies available you would think the aftermarket vendors would jump on the chance to sell noise reduction devises to generator owners...

There is one really low cost silencer for generators. Buy one. Countless owners on here continue to say, "Mine is quiet, yours is noisy". Paint is another great noise reduction system. Red is quiet, Blue is pretty quiet, and all others are loud.
