Good Sam "RV Storage Option"
If you are insured through GMAC/Good Sam and have utilized their "RV Storage Option" I'd like to hear about experience. Specifically, did you estimate in advance or do they issue a rebate at the end...

The thing with the DMV's requirement of non-use is that the state requires all licensed vehicles to have liability and prop damage insurance. When you put your rv into storage mode and reduce the insurance to comprehensive only, the insurance company will send a notice to the DMV. Without having the non-use affidavit on file, the DMV will revoke your license.
So do the affidavit first prior to reducing the insurance and then re-instate the insurance prior to removing the affidavit.
