"Flex Seal" for an RV roof?

It is my understanding, and I very well could be wrong, as mentioned by many Flex Seal does not have a UV inhibitor. Rustolum has a competing product, Leak Seal, that supposedly does have a UV inhibitor.
I used Flex Seal as a short term fix on a shingled roof and it worked as advertised. I cannot comment on long term.

I used the clear spray on product 2 years ago on all roof vents, skylight and the place where the water is channeled from the a/c units.

Have not had to re-apply, Hurricane Irma confirmed that the product is still working as advertised.

Unit sits outside in the Florida sun!

Sentence 1: I second that. From what I've read Don't do it.

Sentence 2 (Above) different reasons.. This does not mean that Gbopp is wrong (Just was not mentioned in the stories I have read) Seems that Flex Seal is sensitive to UV and will change color.. I have used it in some places. and not noticed that.. But ... The places I use it as they say "The sun don't shine" (No not that place but there are many places that do not receive direct sunlight) all are well shaded. (Read that UNDER the roof)

I don't doubt what you are saying but I think I would wait until it has survived a few years in the Southern/desert sun or in Northern Winters before I would use it on my roof. Being as it is still a petroleum based product, it WILL dry out. The big question is how long will it take to dry out? The first step in the drying out process is shrinking and pulling away from the surfaces it is supposed to seal.

actually based on the product specs and useage etc it looks like a great RV roof seal product so why not use it?
its definitely expensive though

I so far can only base it on advertised so called facts about the ""All New"" flex seal
I would not hesitate to use it on a RV roof especially a older
unit in need of a seal
