Okay, this is not something I built, yet. It is my next project. I have almost no outside storage and need a place to carry the bikes. I also sometimes tow a boat. I have one of those carriers that fit in a hitch receiver. Works okay for the bikes, but I can't carry anything else with the bikes, nor can I tow anything. I thought of building a box on the carrier, and bolting it to a hitch extension, but then I still wouldn't have anywhere for the bikes.

My wife saw this in the spot next to us. It is exactly what I want. I just never thought of putting the bike racks on top. And you can still tow with it.
